Indian Spice Mix
This is on Instagram as well but as I have done before, I like to keep stuff on the blog too! This is a beautiful spice mix that is perfect on chicken, shrimp, tofu, vegetables, or stews. I fully understand that this is totally inspired and not a true representation of Indian techniques, traditionally, they use whole spices and toast them prior to grinding. Each and every family has their own spice mixes passed down from generation to generation, a beautiful reminder of heritage. This is a quick and easy spice mix from an Indian food loving gal in Texas, I hope you are inspired by it to create one that you and your family enjoy. Another recipe using this will be posted later this week, you won’t want to miss it.
