Garlic Bread Pizza
It’s been a hot minute since I posted, virtual school started and we started a pod with 16 other families. Yours truly did all the planning, organization, and set up so this mama is WIPED. With school starting and all the things from that, easy dinners have been lifesavers around here. Getting a homemade meal on the table in minutes is so important to me and with soccer starting again, we need all the help we can get. This is one of those Semi-Homemade creations that was so so good, everyone loved it, and it was on the table in about 15 minutes, served with a salad for mama and daddy and veggies for the kiddos. You can make this gluten free or vegan with simple swaps and you can personalize it with your family’s favorite toppings, my kids actually helped me with this one!
Garlic Bread Pizza
1-2 long frozen garlic bread loaves
pizza sauce
cheese
Italian herb seasoning
toppings: pepperoni, olives, peppers, mushrooms, sausage, ham, pineapple, artichokes, tomatoes, basil, jalapenos, onions, whatever you love!
- Preheat the oven to 425
- Split the halves of the garlic bread and bake for 5 minutes
- Top with pizza sauce, cheese, and desired toppings.
- Place back in oven for 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is crispy
Gather all your toppings and your garlic breads. I will say that one garlic bread loaf was not enough for my family, so grab a couple and get cracking!
These are the toppings we picked out, my kids are strictly cheese and pepperoni, and the hubs and I prefer a little more like supreme pizza with olives, peppers, and mushrooms.
Here is the garlic bread baked for 5 minutes, this just helps start the crisping process, it will not be crispy yet but it is time for toppings!
Spread the pizza sauce over the top, I use the back of a spoon.
Sprinkle that cheese all over, whether it is vegan cheese or from a cow, it’s gonna be good.
Now get placing those toppings
Yummmmm. get those into the oven
